Our lessons will be 'made to measure', because they will be focused on meeting your personal requirements for English learning. This means we will always work at the right level for you and in a way that most helps you to improve.
The lessons will also be relaxed. We can laugh together and get to know each other. I have had many years of English teaching experience, but every student brings me something new.
My personality is quiet but fun. I love talking about language and one-to-one teaching. I am married and I live in north-east England.

My first degree was in English Language/Literature from Oxford University.
After a career in social work, I started teaching English as a Foreign Language 12 years ago.
For nine years I taught Japanese interns one-to-one in a British Engineering Company.
For three years I organised and ran English classes for factory employees at five levels.
During 12 years of self-employment, I have tutored hundreds of students of very many nationalities at home and online.
