I think learning English is a bit like learning how to ride a bicycle. You will probably fall down a few times before you can do it. You need someone to guide you along the way. You might need training wheels for a while. Also, you can't learn either English or how to ride a bicycle by reading a book. As the learner, you need to be actively engaged in the process.

I have been teaching English on and off since 1997. I have taught in South Korea, Thailand, USA, online and I was an instructor in the US Army. I was a Reading Tutor in a local public here in New Castle, Delaware USA. I have taught, beginners, immediate students, advanced students, and military service members.
