Hello, I have been living in Japan and teaching English for over 25 years. I have taught students (including Korean) from 4 years old to over 80 years old. I love teaching and helping the people I meet. I am an expert at English grammar, but also can draw out the student's desire to express themselves. As a result, I am great at asking questions and adapting lessons to match how each student learns English. I really look forward to meeting you and helping you with your English goals!

I arrived in Japan in July, 1993. I taught at AEON Language School for two years in Suwa, Nagano. I returned to Japan in September, 1997. I worked at Zenken English school in Shinjuku, Tokyo until being hired by AEON and working there until I moved to Yokohama, Japan in March, 2002. I then worked for Berlitz Language Center in Aobadai, Yokohama until August, 2007. I moved to the countryside of Japan in August, 2007 and started teaching English online. I taught for Berlitz Virtual Classroom until May, 2022 when I started my own online English language teaching company.
