Hi there! My name is Iryna and I am here to help you overcome your fear of speaking English.

I am originally from Ukraine and last 8 years I have been living in Canada. I like to use the game style practice as I believe both children and adults prefer an interactive and interesting way of learning. I already know how to make a six-year-old and a sixty-year-old enjoy English classes and practice it based on their level.

I also believe that the most important concept in teaching and learning a language is the relationship between the teacher and students. When students feel comfortable with the teacher, they are not afraid to go out of their comfort zone and practice language, they are not afraid to do mistakes in a safe and respectful environment. The students are more likely to learn and practice the language if they are enjoying themselves.

I have recently obtained my TESOL Certificate. I have completed 100 hours of coursework and 20 hours of practicum. I am a great beginning teacher. I know the language, have a bachelor's in philology and have teaching experience. My strength is that I am not impromptu and always plan my lessons. I select the topic, use the presentation tools to introduce the theory to students; and then we practice.
