Hello!

My name is Sylvia and I am a teacher by profession. I believe in making lessons enjoyable and purposeful. I like to create lesson plans suited for the individual learner's needs and design it to develop skills that are applicable to the real world. Learning is a two-way street for both the teacher and the learner. I focus on all aspects of the learner - cognitive, emotion, behavior. Lessons are structured experiences that provide opportunities for positive development and nurturance.

I have been a Special Education teacher in the New York Department of Education for 7 years. I have also been a professor of Special Education and Early Childhood Education in West Visayas State University, Philippines.
